Morgagni Hernia

 A 67 years old female patient presented with leg swelling and on a routine Chest skiagram was found to have a large mass in right cardio-phrenic angle. A CT scan was done which confirmed the lesion. Four images are provided herewith. What is the diagnosis? Morgagni Hernia.


Morgagni hernias are one of the congenital diaphragmatic hernias (CHD), and is characterised by herniation through the foramen of Morgagni. When compared to the Bochdalek hernias, Morgagni hernias are:
    anterior
    more often right-sided (~90%)
    small
    rare (~2% of CHD)
